1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Stoory, operated by Maxout Marketing LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE, collects and uses personal information when you use getstoory.com. Contact: help@getstoory.com.
2. Information you give us
Your name and email address; your phone number if you provide it; and the details you enter to create a song, such as the recipient's name, your relationship, the occasion, memories, messages, and your music preferences. When you contact us, we keep your messages.
3. Payment information
Payments are processed by Whop. We receive order details such as your name, email, amount, billing country or address, and limited card details (for example the card brand and last four digits). We never receive or store your full card number.
4. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect device and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site (including advertising links). We use cookies and similar technologies, including advertising pixels from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure and improve our advertising.
5. How we use your information
To create your song and lyrics; deliver your order and add-ons; provide revisions and support; send order emails; send marketing emails about your song or our offers (you can unsubscribe at any time); measure and improve our website and advertising; prevent fraud; and meet legal obligations.
6. AI processing
To create your song, we send the information you entered in our questionnaire to AI service providers that generate lyrics and music for us. We share only what is needed to create your song.
7. Who we share information with
Service providers that help us run Stoory: payments (Whop); order and customer records (Shopify); email delivery (Resend); website hosting and data storage; AI lyric and music generation providers; our music distribution partner, for streaming releases you buy; and advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta). We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may count as "selling" or "sharing" under certain US state laws; you can opt out by contacting us.
8. Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we use it for updates about your order. We will not send marketing text messages without your separate consent.
9. How long we keep information
We keep your song and order information for as long as needed to deliver your order, provide revisions and VIP benefits, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Previews of songs that were never purchased may be deleted.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or opt out of certain uses, including targeted advertising. To make a request, email help@getstoory.com from the email address on your order. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
11. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
12. Children
Stoory is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
13. International transfers
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
